Become a Volunteer
You don’t need to know how to pitch a tent or sell a cookie to change a girl’s life—you just need to show up as yourself. Volunteering with the Girl Scouts isn't just about supervising activities; it’s about becoming the mentor, cheerleader, and role model that inspires a young leader to dream bigger. Whether you’re sharing a professional skill, guiding a troop through a new challenge, or simply providing a supportive space for girls to find their voices, you are helping build the courage and confidence they’ll carry forever. Best of all? You’ll likely find that rediscovering the world through their eyes is just as rewarding for you as it is for them.
*Girl Scout memberships must be renewed annually. The membership year is October 1–September 30.
New Daisy & Brownie troop leaders from participating councils can receive complimentary monthly supplies delivered right to their door.
