While Girl Scout membership renewal for the upcoming year officially opens on April 1, 2026, we encourage you to mark your calendars for May 1!
GSCI is offering exciting incentives and exclusive discounts when you renew your membership beginning May 1. The earlier you renew, the more your save. Each youth member will receive an exclusive early renewal t-shirt and patch. Each adult member will receive an exclusive early renewal t-shirt. (To be guaranteed a T-shirt must be renewed by May 31.)
Renew at Girl Scout Day at the
Capitol - May 1
The 2027 membership year will kick off on Friday, May 1 at our
Girl Scout
Day at the Capitol event in Springfield.
This year at GSD@C event you will be able to renew your
membership for 2026-2027 Girl Scout year! Renew your membership at
the event and get extra incentives. Membership renewal for
2026-2027 is $65 for girls and $30 for adults. Renew at the event
and girls will receive a $40 discount (you pay $25) and adults will
receive a $5 discount (you pay $25)!
When renewing you will head home with:
- Your early renewal t-shirt and patch
- Bonus! Girls receive an exclusive GSCI belt bag
- Bonus! Adults receive an exclusive power bank
- Your membership completed for the new year

Important to Know When Renewing Online with myGS Account
- In order to receive the renewal discount you must apply the Discount Code when renewing online through your myGS account.
- Renewing youths and adults cannot be done in the same transaction through myGS. You must first renewal the youth(s) and use the correct Discount Code aligning with the timeframe and then, renew the adult(s) in a separate transaction with the correct Discount Code aligning with the timeframe.
- If you do not apply the Discount Code you will not receive the discounted rate. We will not be able to refund you the discount if you do not use the discount code.
- Please follow the Timeframe when using the Discount Code because each has an expiration date.
- If your Girl Scout has earned a Free Cookie Membership, or is using Cookie Dough or Nutty Bucks to pay for membership renewal for the girl, please contact Customer Care for assistance with renewal.
