Make the Girl Scout Tree Promise and explore all the ways trees make our world a better place. Together with our friends from the Ecology Action Center, we'll learn about nature's superheros and how we can protect and honor our forest-friends! Girl Scouts ages 14 and older will have the opportunity to learn about volunteering with Tree Corps, who plants thousands of trees each year. This is also a great opportunity for Girl Scouts who are exploring park design/environmentally minded Highest Awards projects to learn about what it takes to plant trees on public lands and why that matters to communities. Fun patch and snack included. Cadettes will complete steps towards their Trees badge.
