The forest is calling and we must go! Shawnee National Forest is one of Southern Illinois' most famous attractions. Join us for a weekend of high adventure and outdoor learning among the trees at Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center. We will cook around the campfire, rock climb on sandstone bluffs of Southern Illinois, and learn survival skills. To start out our trip, we'll spend one night at Camp Widjiwagan, then we'll head for the forest! Please note the early registration deadline for this program. We will be "cabin camping" for both nights of this trip. Cadettes will complete all steps for their Climbing Adventure badge. Seniors will complete some steps towards their Adventurer badge.
